Description
Southwestern Power Administration has a requirement for Off-Site Tape Storage and Management for media, with the following requirments: 1. The storage facility must be located in the proximity of Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA) (One West Third Street, Tulsa, OK 74103-3519), so that it can be reached in one hour or less during normal driving conditions, but must be located at least 5 miles in road distance from Southwestern Power Administration. 2. The vendor must exhibit sound security practices and permit a audit of such by Southwestern personnel at any time. Examples of sound security practices include by are not limited to: Secured facilities with controlled access to SWPA media; background checks for employees; Bonding and training for courier and facility personnel; and immediate notification to SWPA in the event of any incident or suspected incident involving any SWPA media in the custody of the contactor. 3. The vendor must provide twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week access to SWPA media, by authorized personnel only. 4. The vendor must deliver and retrieve media to and from the appropriate SWPA facility at a minimum of once per week. 5. The storage facility must be constructed to resist damage from heat, magnetic fields, moisture, humidity, wind, theft, sabotage, espionage, and fire. 6. The vendor must acquire and log positive identification before any media is transferred to or from SWPA Personnel. Positive identification is considered a Government issued security badge from SWPA. 7. The vendor must provide secure lockable containers for the transport and storage or SWPA media. 8. The vendor must provide a semi-annual inventory of all SWPA media in its possession. 9. Billing and Invoicing will be monthly. This solicitaiton may result in a purchase order, Blanket Purhcase Agreement or any other contractual insturment deemed appropriate by the Government.
