Description

RFP# JC-RIV-5-01 for the operation of the Laredo Job Corps Center located in Laredo, Texas, will be available on the Federal Busines Opportunity website: http://www.fbo.gov on or about November 1, 2005. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus incentive fee for a 2-year base period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity stength is 250: 228 residential studens, 22 non-residential. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Laredo JCC, 1701 Island Street, Laredo, Texas, 78041. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must sign in with Security and will be directied to the conference site. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of Oral Presentations and written submissions as describd in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposals are due by 12:00 pm local time Tuesday, January 3, 2006 to the Dallas Regional Office. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
