Description
This amendment to solicitation FA4479-05-R-0018 Human Factors Training Program, is to incorporate additional clauses, change some clauses to full text, add verbiage to the QASP. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The contractor shall provide course development, instruction, and administration of the McChord Air Force Base Maintenance Resource Management Training. The objective of this academic development and instruction program is to implement guidance provided in the most current Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular No. 120-72. The goal is to provide human factors and error mitigation education and training to United States Air Force (USAF) personnel that will enhance their abilities to develop, implement, and evaluate safe maintenance practices, mishap prevention, and error reduction investigation programs in their organizations, while providing programmatic tools to reduce error, and mitigate hazards and risk. Contractor shall use Instructional Systems Development (ISD) processes to develop and maintain curriculum described in the Statement of Work (SOW) and deliver for government use. Provide innovative delivery to reach a broad and varied audience using the most effective methods. Provide classroom instruction and course administration at McChord Air Force Base, Washington. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430 with a small business standard of $6,000,000. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test program for certain commercial items and the small business set-aside is according to FAR Part 19.502-2(b)(2). It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 5 October 2005 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
