- Description
- The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award multiple contracts on an open continuous basis in accordance with this annual synopsis and in response to Request for Proposal (RFP)-244-06-0004-REL for the provision of Hospital Referral Services for eligible Indian beneficiaries in the Billings Area. In accordance with the IHS Payment Policy (Federal Register Vol. 51, No. 125, June 30, 1986, pages 23540-41 - Tab 1, Exhibit 1), the IHS shall award contracts to those offerors willing to accept reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rate (including deductible and co-payments). The contract(s) shall be awarded for a base year with four 12-month option years. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is October 31, 2005, with a final closing date of October 30, 2006.
