Description
SCOPE OF PROJECT Technical specifications: The bus type vehicle shall be at most 12 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.50 meters high. The vehicle shall have a minimum seating capacity of 45 (including the driver). It must have a door on the driver side and two automatically opening doors on the opposite side. The vehicle must have at least the following equipment: diesel engine of well known make, automatic gearbox, ABS, double glazed windows, heating (Webesto type) and air conditioning installed at the time of manufacture, sober non metallic color (e.g. white), RDS AM/FM radio and CD player, Airbag for the driver, fitted for Nokia series 6 mobile phones, system to connect the batteries during parking in the garage to avoid flat batteries, mudguards for the wheels, safety headrests which can be removed for maintenance (washing). Figures must also be provided for the following options: Metallic paint and internal over-carpets. The vehicle must be approved for registration in Belgium and must therefore meet Belgian legislation on all points. It shall be equipped with all accessories required by Belgian law. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS The bidder shall provide the Organization with one or more models to test. The necessary arrangements will be made by mutual agreement. INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING A BID? Bidders shall submit their bids IN DUPLICATE in an envelope or box bearing the firm name, to which they shall affix the enclosed official mailing label, to the exclusion of any other method of submission. For their bid to be considered, it is ESSENTIAL for bidders to include with their bid the Acceptance document, duly completed. These may be sent separately or attached to your bid. Bids must be received by 14 November 2005 at the latest. If your firm would like to submit a bid, you will need to obtain a copy of the General Contract Specifications.
