Description
This amendment issued to change the closing date of this solicitation from 11 Oct 2005 to 13 Oct 2005. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation M67854-05-R-0532 is issued hereto as a request for proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are current as of the date of this publication. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 484210 and has a small business size of $21,500,000. The contract type will be firm-fixed priced. The period of performance will commence on October 15 and conclude on October 16. The scope of work requires the contractor to efficiently and seamlessly move 140 personnel assisgned to Information Sytems & Infrastructure (ISI) Product Group from Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, Buildings 2079 to Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA, Building 2210 with a absolute minimum of impact on daily operations and the workforce. The contract line item numbers (CLINS), item, and specifications are delineated as follows and are to be in accordance with performance specifications provided. CLIN 0001: Move all boxes packed and identified from Bldg. 2079 to Bldg. 2210 (Quantico, VA). Quantity 1 job,; CLIN 0002: Move all five-drawer file cabinets from Bldg. 2079 to Bldg. 2210 (Quantico, VA) Quantity 1 job. The statement of work is delineated as follows: The Contractor will move all boxes packed and identified from Bldg. 2079 to Bldg. 2210. Each box will be marked with employees name, section and space number. Each space in Bldg. 2210 will be marked with the space number and employees name to cross-reference with the boxes moved from Bldg. 2079. The Contractor will move all five-drawer file cabinets from B-2079 to B-2210. All cabinets will be marked with employees name, section and space number. D amage to Government and Private Property: Extreme care shall be exercised to avoid damage to Government and Private property. Property damaged or destroyed shall be repaired or replaced as directed by the Contracting Officer at no expense to the Government. After all work has been accomplished and before final acceptance, all trash and debris shall be properly disposed of to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer and MARCORSYSCOM. Working Hours: On-site work will be conducted during the hours of 0730-4:30 commencing October 15th, 2005 with all work completed by October, 16th 2005. The project should be completed with minimum impact on the workforce. The Contractor shall manage the total work effort associated with moving individual boxes and ensure adequate and timely completion of these services. Inspection: Each phase of the services rendered is subject to Government inspection during the Contractor?s operations and following completion of the contracted tasks.! All unsatisfactory work shall be corrected for re-inspection in a timely manner. All costs associated with the rework of discrepancies shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. A site visit will be conducted on October 6, 2005. Contractors shall meet at 1000 at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, Building 2079 (front of building). The site visit will be conducted by Mr. Steve West and LTC Ditton. Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim following contract award. No additional site visits will take place. The provision at 52.232-18, Availability of Funds applies to this solicitation.
