- The Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing and delivering M781, M751, and M775 Multi-Option Practice Fuzes to be provided to the load/assemble/pack facilities for mortar cartridge ammunition. Hazardous materials are required to be handled and stored in accordance with DOD 6055.9- STD, DOD Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards (July 1999): for M751 and M781 Fuzes the hazard class is 1.2B, for M775 Fuze 1.4G. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company???s general capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification; fuze specific production capabilities, a description of facilities/equipment, manufacturing process, inspection capability; personnel; fuze manufacture past experience; monthly production rate capability per fuze; and whether the company is a small or large business. All responding sources must submit their responses no later than October 25, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. local time to U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Attn:_Kim Potempa Niedosik (AMSTA-AQ-APC, Bldg. 10)_, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. .
