- This announcement amends the previous synopsis of FA8103-05-R-0246 posted 04AUG2005. The requirement has changed substantially. Overhaul of Gate Valves for the KC-135. Period of performance is 36 months. Estimated yearly BEQ is 720 (repair), 120 (overhaul) for NSN 4810-00-325-0646FG, P/N 135675. Estimated yearly BEQ is 180 (repair) and 60 (overhaul) for NSN 4810-00-087-5175FG, P/N AV16B1632A1. To request technical orders that apply: 8D1-14-77-343 and 6J15-10-66-363, and 6J15-10-159-3, 8D1-14-128-3, 8D1-14-129-3, submit an approved form 2345 to the p.o.c. by email and if available, the technical orders will be inserted in an email response. The known fully approved sources are Gulf Aerospace (cage 17475) and Whitaker Controls (cage 79318). There are qualification requirements applicable to this part to include an IPE for all firms other than those listed above. Those firms that qualified for a limited overhaul on a previous requirement must qualify for the full overhaul as well by following the SAR process IAW FAR 52.209-1. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. This requirement is not considered commercial. The RFP is scheduled to be completed and posted an estimated 15 to 30 days from the date of this announcement. You may check back to this website to download a copy after it is posted. The PCO will not supply the RFP directly. Before you can be considered for award, you must register in ORCA at orca.bpn.gov and also in CCR at ccr.gov.
