- The U. S. Department of the Interior, GovWorks/National Business Center, on behalf of the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD., intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Information Data Management, Inc of Rosemont, IL. Specifically, The National Naval Medical Center has the need to upgrade the current Data Management System ( DMS ). Information Data Management (IDM) has significant process and procedural improvements over the current DMS system. The current DMS system is manufactured by Abbott Laboratories by Information Data Management. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 4:30 p.m. EST October 27, 2005 will be considered by the Government. The anticipated award date is October 28, 2005.
