- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Geokon Inc, 48 Spencer St., Lebanon, NH 03766-6136 for 16 (sixteen) Model 4500AL vibrating- wire piezometers, 21 (twenty-one) Model 4999-12L/E LAB3 surge lightning protection boards without enclosures, 16 (sixteen) Model 8001 LC-1 data loggers, and 5 (five) Model 8001-1-1 data loggers that will be installed at Upper and Lower Deer Flat Dams to measure water pressures within the foundation and surrounding downstream areas. Note: the 16 (sixteen) piezometers requested model 4500AL 0-25 PSI range with 100 feet of cable attached to each. The proposed action is for services for which the Government believes that there is only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy the agency's requirement. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above is encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses received within 5 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should include the firm's business size [e.g. small business, other than small business] in accordance with the size standard: 500 employees for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334519.
