Description
In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS), the FAA intends to issue a Screening Information Request (SIR). The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (FAAWJHTC) has a requirement for the necessary management and personnel to operate the Graphic Arts Facility located at the FAAWJHTC in Atlantic City International Airport, NJ. Types of services to be performed include, but are not limited to: Full technical and creative design services Full graphic art services including: Layouts, posters, pamphlets, brochures, signs, forms, letterheads, electronic presentations, charts, graphs, certificates, plaques, displays, documentation covers, technical illustrations, electronic photo manipulation/enhancement, maps, picture framing and matting, photography, web page design, video enhancement and editing support and other services as requested. Offerors will be required to respond to a Screening Information Request (SIR) which will be posted on this web page on or about October 12, 2005. The SIR will require offerors to submit technical and price proposals. Award resulting from the SIR will be based on the following technical evaluation criteria: 1. Key personnel - 3 resumes required /Project Mgr (1) Illustrator II (2) - these will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis 2. Relevant Experience/Past Performance - a. 3 projects performed in the last 3 years that are similar in scope b. Submission of 6 art samples 2 from each of the 3 key personnel Relevant experience will be evaluated on an adjectival basis. Potential offerors must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for October 14, 2005 at 9:00 p.m. EST in order to be permitted to submit an offer. A notice of the offerors intent to attend the site visit must be received via email to jeanine.passetti@faa.gov by October 13, 2005 by 2:00 p.m. EST. The government will conduct this acquisition as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541430, with a size standard of $6M. The acquisition will result in award of a firm fixed price contract with a base period of November 1, 2005 through October 31, 2006 and four (1) one-year option periods.
