- This synopsis was previously posted with an erroneous Solicitation Number of N665005R0027 on 29 June 2005. Synopsis modifications to N6650005R0027 were posted on 5 August 2005 and 6 October 2005. This requirement is for the commercial depot level overhaul of five (5) US Navy LM2500 Twin Shank (TST) Gas Generator assemblies and concurrent components and accessories. The overhaul will consist of a complete teardown, inspection, repair and acceptance testing of each gas generator engine and its accessories. There will also be options for unforeseen work which is over and above the minimum repair requirements in the specification. All repairs, upgrades and replacement parts used in the overhaul of each gas generator shall be in accordance with US Navy requirements. Solicitation will be issued on or about 14 October 2005. Solicitation packages will only be available electronically.
