- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a purchase order for the procurement of 600 Sheets 1 inch, 150 Sheets 1/2 inch and 150 Sheets 1/4 inch LD45 Black Foam. The Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. UFP Technologies LD45 Black Foam is a closed cell cross linked polyethylene foam that has been constructed and tested to be impervious to oil, gasoline, salt water and other moisture for use in extreme outdoor conditions. UPF Technologies LD45 Foam meets Government color and size requirements for Navy customized tool kit programs. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Numbered Note 22.
