- The Department of State is conducting its first annual Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Business Exposition on November 3, 2005 at the Harry S. Truman Building Main Exhibit Hall, Washington, DC. All service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOB) small business firms are encouraged to participate. This is an opportunity for SDVOBs to market their capabilities directly to representatives of the Department?s program offices. The Department of State procures a wide array of products and services from facilities support, security, and engineering to computer peripheral equipment and commercial/institutional building construction. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. To register online go to: http://www.fbcinc.com. Discounted registration is available for veteran owned small business firms. Limited spaces are also reserved for prime contractors seeking SDVOSB subcontractors.
