- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron (96 CONS/MSCB), Eglin AFB, intends to solicit and award a contract for a requirement to provide inpatient medical coding for the 96th Medical Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base Hospital, Eglin AFB, FL. Scope of Work: Provide certified ambulatory coding and auditor support to 96th Medical Group (96MDG), Eglin AFB Florida. The Contractor will provide the resources necessary to assist program management via retrospective ADS coding and audits, providing initial and periodic coding training for providers, assisting in development of accurate/customized encounter capture forms, and monthly/daily analysis of coding by clinics and provide feedback to professional staff, coordinate and implement data collection tool improvements, and answer coding questions. This accurate outpatient encounter information will support the analysis to determine the best disease management practices for the Eglin Air Force Base Hospital. The period of performance will be for five years (basic year plus four option years). The solicitation number for this announcement is FA2823-05-R-0032. This is a 100% Small Business 8(a) Participant Set-Aside Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this sale is 541990. The size standard for the NAICS code is $6.0 million. Please identify whether or not you are a small or large business based on the NAICS code.
