- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol, Washington, DC has a requirement for on-site Operation, Maintenance and Custodial/Janitorial Services for the Senate Warehouse Facility located in Landover, Maryland. The complex houses storage space for office supplies, gift shop merchandise, art work, office space, one loading dock, humidity controlled space, restrooms, and general purpose warehouse storage. The complex consists of nearly 100,000 square feet of building space, with approximately 4,000 square feet of occupied space. The resultant contractor shall be required to provide a full range of operational,maintenance, and custodial support services on a 24-hour--7-day week to the Senate Warehouse. The contractor shall possess (1) a minimum of 10-years of previously "successful experience" performing operating and maintenance of a BOMA Class A Building with similar experiences to include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance services and operational control, (2) experience with ongoing design build work for facility additions, alterations,and system modifications, and (3)experience in managing/maintaining a 24-hour, 7-day-week operation using a computer assisted facility management software.
