- The 89th Contracting Squadron wishes to procure mobility items for Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This competitive acquisition is unrestricted. This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed price contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423710 with a size standard of 500 employees. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 24 September 2005 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in CCR may do so by calling 1-800-334-3414 or by visiting http://www.ccr.gov/. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
