Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Compusearch Software Systems, Inc., 22685 Holiday Park Dr., STE 40, Sterling, VA 20166-6431 for the requirements specified herein under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition 13.106(b), as the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. SSA has a requirement to renew the following Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Module listed and described below as: (1) A real-time XML interface between Compusearch?s PRISM application and the Central Contract Registration(CCR) database. The interface must have the ability to add, validate and or refresh vendors from CCR directly through the PRISM application without logging into a separate database. This ability should become part of the PRISM Vendor Setup Module. There should be no need to reconfigure the current PRISM vendor file. (2) The link between CCR and PRISM will enable the ability to query data in CCR from within PRISM. (3) The interface will have the ability to import vendors from CCR through the PRISM Award Module. This interface requires changes to the proprietary software application, PRISM, which is owned by Compusearch , Inc. (4) The CCR maintenance will provide that the vendor updates to the PRISM CCR module as bugs are identified, and if and when any changes are made to the CCR database system which then require changes to the CCR PRISM interface. (5) The Maintenance coverage will provide both a helpdesk type of resource to SSA for issues with the CCR interface, and for updates, will provide software to SSA. The updates can be either downloaded form an FTP site, or delivered on CD. Compusearch Software Systems, Inc. is the only source capable of satisfying SSA?s requirements. Other organizations possessing the requisite expertise and resources are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data (including GSA Schedule information). Pricing data may be submitted. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicting your firm?s capability to provide the proprietary software products. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Respondents will not be notified of the results of an evaluation of the information received. This information will be used in SSA?s assessment of capable sources. Responses to this notice should be submitted by September 26, 2005, 1:00 p.m. eastern standard time and should refer to RFQ-05-2037. The size limitation for email attachments is five megabytes per individual email message. If after September 26, 2005 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, SSA shall initiate negotiations solely with Compusearch Software Systems, Inc. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged.
