Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15.201, The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is requesting information on Night Vision Technology. USSOCOM will conduct a Night Vision Technology Conference 1-3 November 2005. The purpose of the conference is to assess the current state of the technology and evaluate technology protection measures. Current and potential Department of Defense contractors will be asked to provide a 15-30 minute presentation on the current and future state of the technology. Selection of contractors requested to brief will be based on a review of white papers submitted in response to this announcement. Contractors may submit white papers no longer than two pages in length by email to tilo@socom.mil (Include Night Vision Conference in the subject line) or by mail to HQ SOCOM SOAL-MI Attn: SOAL-MT (Night Vision Conference), 7701 Tampa Point Blvd. MacDill AFB, Florida 33621-5323. White papers must be submitted by 01 October 2005. In accordance with FAR 15.201 responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
