- Solicitation number GS05P05SIC0048 is for Mechanical Operations and Maintenance Services for the following locations: Everett M. Dirksen Federal Building & Courthouse, 219 S. Dearborn Street, John C. Kluczynski Federal Building, 230 S. Dearborn Street, United States Post Office/Loop Station, 211 S. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, and equipment including inspection and maintenance of all fire protection systems, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified. This is a performance-based contract. The contract period will consist of a 3-year base period with 2 one-year options with an estimated start date of July 1, 2006. This is a negotiated procurement that will be open to all business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with a size standard of $12.0 million. GSA is issuing the solicitation electronically only. It will be available on or about October 26, 2005. Interested parties must access the solicitation via the FedTeds website at www.fedteds.gov. The solicitation will not be available on the Fedbizopps website. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. Contractors must register on the FedTeds website to have access to solicitation material. This registration includes providing a Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN). In addition, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors are required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission.
