Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued; quotations are being requested. The following provisions and clauses apply plus any addenda: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications --Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5 Contract terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. NAICS for this requirement is 443112. The proposed procurement is restricted 100% for small businesses. The U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan (NHO) has a SOLE SOURCE requirement for 300 each Bravo 802 Pagers, Specifications: Frequency: 138.850 Mhz, PACSAG Coding, 512 Bit Rate, Precoded with CAP codes 3001 through 3300. Requirements are to be delivered direct to NHO via United States Postal Services or by commercial carrier on or before November 30, 2005. The contractor shall be responsible for providing tracking information for all shipments. The contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation will be awarded based on Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Contractors must meet or exceed the specifications in the solicitation and any subsequent amendments (Technical); award will be made to the low quote based on price and Multiple Award evaluation per FAR 52.214-22 (Price); contractors must meet the required delivery date (Delivery); contractors must meet the standard for FAR 9.104 (Responsbility). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Only E-mailed quotations will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information. Quotes and all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc.) must be submitted to the POC no later than 28 September, 2005.
