- The U.S. Army Natick Soldier Center (NSC), on behalf of the Joint Project Management Office Individual Protection (JPMO-IP), is conducting a market survey for technical information from foreign vendors of chemical/biological individual protection ( CB-IP) items including, but not limited to: suits, footwear, and handwear (i.e. gloves). The vendor must provide a detailed description of the item, cost of the item, any available test results, as well as a point of contact, phone number, and email addre ss. Information should include specifications (product description, materials, sizing, performance characteristics, etc.) and illustrations/photographs with corresponding descriptive information that best describes the Chemical/Biological-Individual Equip ment item. Vendors should also submit any appropriate documentation, literature, and brochures pertaining to the CB-IP item(s). This is a market survey and is not a pre-solicitation notice. Nothing shall be construed herein or through the market survey process to commit or obligate the U.S. Government to further action as a result of this market survey. Firms responding to this m arket survey shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the requested information, and all information submitted in response to this request shall become the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned to the submitter. Respondents must submit their product brochures, technical data, or other information concerning performance and cost by COB on 21 November 2005. No solicitation document exists at this time. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only.
