- Notice of Intent to Issue a Sole Source Purchase Order to Positech, Inc. 191 No. Rush Lake Road, Laurens, IA 50554 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for one lifting and positioning device heavily modified to meet the requirements for the intend ed application as specified in purchase description Ammunition Peculiar Equipment (APE) 2146 (SANG) dated 25 July 2005 and Specification Control Drawing 21460000 for the APE program. The only source previously approved by the Government for this item is b eing solicited. This Notice of Intent to purchase is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government and m ust be received no later than 3 Oct 05. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
