- Defense Contracting Command-Washington on behalf fo the U.S. Army Research Institute (ARI) for the Behavioral and Social Sciences intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with SAS Institute, Inc. for the renewal of the annual SAS Statistical Analy sis Software. SAS is proprietary software that is available from only one source. This requirement is essential due to the need for a comprehensive statistical analysis tool that supports existing research and development data sets. There will not be a solicitation document. This notice is not a request for quotes. Interested firms may send capability statements to the attention of Ellery L. Williams, DCC-W, via email: ellery.williams@hqda.army.mil. Capability statments must be received by this office within 3 days from publication of this notice.
