Description
RENTAL OF HEATING SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FOLLOWING STATEMENT OF WORK. STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Scope: The Defense Distribution Depot Europe (DDDE) has an immediate need to lease temporay heating systems. 2. Locations for a leased heating systems to be installed are work areas in buildings 7971, 7972, 7973 and 7976 as determined by DDDE POC. Requested service includes, but is not limited to, the delivery/removal, set-up and installation as well as the maintenance of the heating systems. Entire system needs to be in operation when technical personnel leaves the site and needs to be running continously. System is to be contolled by electric current 220 Volts or 380 Volts and shall provide and maintain a temperature of at least +10 degrees centigrade at any given time. Operation is to be by means of oil fired burners and forced air. Environmental laws and restrictions (US & host) need to be considered and implemented. The heating system shall consist of all hardware and technology to transport heated air into the buildings while the heater itself and oil supply tanks remain outside. All safety and fire prevention rules (US and host nation) need to be considered and implemented. Electrical connections need to be coordinated with the user and DPW electrical branch. Maintenance/upkeep/repair shall be provided upon request within 2 hours during regular duty hours and shall be free of charge for labor and parts rendered (unless damage is caused by DDDE). 3. A SITE SURVEY IS RECOMMENDED TO ESTABLISH CLEAR GUIDELINES ON THE EXACT LOCATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE AREAS TO BE HEATED. FOR APPOINTMENTS CONTACT THE UNIT POC. 4.
