- THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR PLANNNING PURPOSES ? FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. This solicitation F1FKA15230A100, is a Request for Propsal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Full and Open Competition is being utilized subject to the following: The BID SCHEDULE shall be for Line Item 0001: Hazardous Waste Storage Unit Mft: New Pig Corporation Mft #: GEN556 QTY: 1 Each For a complete description of item, please email lacy.etherton@aviano.af.mil Make sure to provide pricing for labor, materials, and transportation to furnish and install hazardous waste storage unit. SHIPPING INFORMATION: Item requires direct delivery to Aviano Air Base (Pordenone) Italy 33081. As an alternative, due to item size & weight, shipment may have to be coordinated through the military consolidation point at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania 17070-5001. Vendors are encouraged to submit offers indicating the individual shipping costs and delivery time for each of the above zip codes. Complete shipping address and Points of Contact will be provided upon award. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers (listed in relative order of importance): 1. Technical capability of the item to meet the government?s requirement; 2. Price; 3. Past Performance. (b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
