- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to inform vendors the Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO), Scott AFB, IL an office of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue two purchase orders; one to L-3 Communications of Camden, NJ for Omni Equipment Model X1, Coalition Model (Qty 8) and Model X1, U.S. National Model (Qty 10) and another order to Mykotronx of Torrance, CA for Fortezza Plus Krypton Cards (KOV14s). The cards are an integral part of the Omani Coalition and U.S. National models and therefore this is a combined synopsis. This acquisition is being conducted as a sole source acquisition (Only one responsible source FAR 6.302-1). Companies desiring to submit a bid for the identical products can do so via email to Michael.Hamilton@disa.mil. "Or Equals" are not acceptable. Upon receipt of a competing offer, it will be evaluated by technical personnel and if determined to be satisfactory, an RFQ will be issued. The closing date for receipt of offers is COB 28 September 2005. If no responses are received by the closing date, order will be issued to both companies.
