- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability of potential sources for approximately 4000 (one time purchase) and 12,528 (over the course of one year - blanket purchase agreement) Radios (FRS/GMRS, Walkie-Talkie, Set of Two Radios) in accordance with Midland Model Number GXT-400, Part Number GXT400C2. The General Services Administration (GSA) is performing a market survey to determine whether the above requirements for the radios described below are available and manufactured in a ?designated country?. 5820-01-518-3622 UI: SE RADIO, RECEIVER-TRANSMITTER ( WALKIE TALKIE) DESCRIPTION RADIO, FRS/GMRS WALLKIE TALKIE, SET OF TWO RADIOS IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIDLAND MODEL NUMBER: GXT-400, PART NUMBER: GXT400C2 - 4 Watts of power (Hi, Med, Lo Settings), 22 Channels - NOAA Weather Radio - Over 10-Mile Range, 836 Privacy Codes - Vibrate Alert, Hands-Free Operation - Backlit LCD, Water resistant - 3 year Warranty - Works with all FRS/GMRS - Scan Feature, Keylock - Roger Beep Tone, Auto Squelch - Power High/Power Low Option - Optional Battery Pack with Drop-in Charger (P/N: AVP-3) & Headset (P/N: AVP-1) - Uses 4 AAA Batteries, Durable Belt Clip - Speaker/Mic/Charger Jacks - Range can only be achieved under optimum conditions. Buildings, trees, - and other obstacles will dramatically affect range. IMPORTANT ACCESSORIES: NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SET MATCHING HEADSET P/N: AVP-1 MATCHING CHARGER P/N: AVP-3 Please note, if there is another radio that is considered a commercial equivalent, please provide the information for that radio. All businesses capable of providing these radios are invited to respond. Any information provided by the industry to the Government as a result of this Request For Information / Sources Sought notice is voluntary.
