- The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances (OPPTS), Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), Antimicrobials Division (AD), has a requirement for contractor technical support in the areas of efficacy data evaluation and consolidation of pesticide assessment guidelines. Prospective offerors must be able to provide relevant scientific and technical expertise to perform work including (but not limited to): efficacy data reviews, re-registration of pesticides, test guideline support, reviews of incident information, literature searches, consolidation of pesticide assessment guidelines, and the convening of workshops, seminars and training functions. EPA intends to conduct this procurement under Full and Open Competition. The agency anticipates awarding a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract to support this requirement; with an estimated period of performance that includes one (1) 12-month Base Period, and four (4) 12-month Option Periods. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 541710, entitled "Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about October 20, 2005.
