- The 10th Mission Support Group, Directorate of Contracting, United States Air Force Academy Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The requirement is for membership and scheduling services in a regional NCAA Division 1 Hockey Conference. The United States Air Force Academy is current member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The purpose for this sole source acquisition is to provide the USAF Academy with required membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. In accordance with NCAA guidelines, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association is the only source that can satisfy the Government?s requirement. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] for this requirement is 813990 and the size standard is $6 million. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if received in a timely manner, will be considered by 10MSG/LGCB. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. The new services must include the following characteristics: Membership in a Division 1 Hockey conference that allows the USAF Academy to fulfill FY 2006 conference gaming commitments with the following schools: University of Alabama ? Huntsville, Wayne State University, Bemidji State University, University of Findlay, Niagara University, and Robert Morris University. Any vendor that feels they have services that can meet the needs of the Government must submit technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
