Description

The 10th Mission Support Group, Directorate of Contracting, United States Air Force Academy Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to the Mountain West Conference. The requirement is for membership in a regional NCAA Division 1 Athletic Conference. The United States Air Force Academy is a charter member of the Mountain West Conference since its inception in 1999. The purpose for this sole source acquisition is to provide the USAF Academy with required membership in the Mountain West Conference. In accordance with NCAA guidelines, the Mountain West Conference is the only source that can satisfy the Government?s requirement. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] for this requirement is 813990 and the size standard is $6 million. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if received in a timely manner, will be considered by 10MSG/LGCB. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. The new services must include the following characteristics: Membership in a conference that allows the USAF Academy to fulfill FY 2006 conference gaming commitments with the following schools: University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Colorado State University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Wyoming, University of New Mexico, San Diego State University, and Texas Christian University. Any vendor that feels they have services that meet the needs of the Government must submit technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
