- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement. The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiation with only one source, Jeppeson Sanderson, Inc., 55 Iverness Drive, Englewood, CO 80112-2540, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a sole source solicitation for Computerized Flight Planning software and services, and Charting Products and Services to ensure complete, current and accurate Flight Planning and Execution support to 932nd Airlift Wing aircrews, at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The generation and execution of flight plans will be enabled by Jeppesen?s Mil Planner? product that includes a desktop PC software version, an internet web site version and an internet server processing engine. The execution of flight plans will be assisted by Jeppesen?s Global Support and Control Center when required for short notice changes. Therefore, Jeppesen?s Milplanner? product in conjunction with their Global Support and Control Center will provide the 932nd AW with the capability to plan, execute and change missions on a moment?s notice wherever the mission is in the world. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced contract with a potential start date of October 1, 2005 thru September 30, 2006 with one (1) one year option period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made since proprietary rights preclude access to full technical data and specifications, suitable for full and open competition.
