Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs currently occupies office and related space in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania under an expiring lease. The Lebanon VA Medical Center is seeking to lease approximately 2,950 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The lease term requirement is for up to five (5) years with cancellation rights anytime during the lease term. The space must be available for occupancy by March 31, 2006. The delineated area is bounded on the north by Interstate 81; on the west by Front Street; on the south by Interstate 83; on the east by Route 230. Expressions of Interest must include the following information: Building name and address; rentable square feet available; expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced; date of space availability; amount of parking available on-site and its cost- include whether expected rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking (if any). Space shall not be located in high crime areas or in any area that will necessitate more extensive and stringent building security. All services, supplies, utilities and tenant improvements must be provided in consideration of rental to be paid. By occupancy, the leased space and building shall meet the requirements of ADA, the National Fire Protection Act and local fire codes. Consideration for relocating this requirement will be taken upon analysis of the economics involved, including the cost of moving, tenant improvements, and impact on agency mission, among other items. The Government's decision regarding whether or not to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that a potential offeror fails to provide specific rental rate or other required information as part of its response to this advertisement, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government's requirements.
