- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single or multiple award for the provision of an advanced occupational education program for the Federal Correctional Institution, Fairton, New Jersey, located at 655 Fairton Millville Road, Fairton, New Jersey 08320. The program is to include a two year AA degree program in business administration, a one year academic certificate program in aquaculture/horticulture, and business management, or a career certificate (short term 6-8 months) in the following: floriculture, retail sales, entrepreneurship/small business leadership, construction supervision, environmental science, developmental skills and career development at the post-secondary level of study. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The yearly estimated quantities are: AA degree program in business administration, 500 credit hours; one year academic certificate programs or a career certificate (short term 6-8 months), 300 credit hours; non-credit courses, 10 each; and workshops or seminars, 6 each. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 3, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is November 3, 2005. Anticipated date of award is November 30, 2005, with performance anticipated to begin January 3, 2006. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
