- ***Friday June 11 has been declared a holiday and the Federal Government will be closed. Therefore, the due date for quotations has been extended to Tuesday, June 15th at 4:00 PM E.S.T.*** This is a re-posting of the same solicitation number that was posted on May 27, 2004. The National Library has a requirement to establish support services for the Exhibition Program at the Library for production of museum quality, moderate sized exhibitions, refurbishing and adding to existing exhibitions, and traveling and managing exhibitions. The work will include traveling to the Library to meet with exhibition staff, exhibition designers and other consultants; consulting with Library staff, exhibition designer and other consultants during the development and production process; inspecting the exhibition site; assessing the refurbishment of existing exhibitions; fabricating exhibition furniture and temporary exhibitions; maintaining existing exhibitions; preparing production schedules and cost estimates for the work; providing shop drawings for review and approval prior to fabrication; providing measurements for gallery spaces; fabricating and installing the exhibitions; providing as-built drawings; and providing technical, maintenance, and installation manuals. Manage, insure, ship, and install traveling exhibitions is a part of this contract. Design is not part of this contract. This is a small business set-aside. Offers are due June 4, 2004 at 2:00PM EST.
