- This is a commercial item for non-personal services to assist in the successful completion of the HeartSounds Pediatric Multi-site Phonocardiography Project in support of the Pediatrics Department at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Solicitatio n W81K02-05-T-0196 applies. This is a firm fixed-price type contract. Contractor services include but are not limited to: Developing procedures to automatically time align heartsound recordings with different heart rates; Developing procedures to automatic ally noise-reduce heartsound recordings; Developing procedures to automatically identify and label key cardiac events (i.e., the first and second heart sound); and developing standardized reporting protocol of automatic heartsound interpretations. Period o f Performance is for a Base Period (28 September 2005 through 27 September 2006) and one (1) one-year Option Period. The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source set-aside to the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
