- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Lockheed Martin to provide continued support, 6 months, in its efforts to analysis the capabilities of a mobile gravity gradiometer. The requirement is for the use of a gravity gradiometer for the collection of static gravity gradient data. Lockheed Martin developed and built the only available, one-of-a-kind, gravity gradiometer that will meet NGA?s requirements. The sole source is based on FAR 6.302-1 to maintain essential research or development capability provided by an Lockheed Martin. Any interested parties have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit qualifications/capabilities. Any responses must be submitted by email to Terri.A.Scheid@nga.mil. A determination by NGA not to compete this continued support on other than a sole source basis is solely within the discretion of NGA.
