- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Repair, Upgrade and Modernize the Audio/Visual and Telecommunicatins Equipment which was posted on September 2, 2005. You are notified that the following changes are made: Answers to questions are as follows: 1. Is installation of the equipment listed in the "Custom Room Integration" being requested in the solicitation? Answer: Installation is only being requested for line item #7 (VSX 7000e -- BTC System) 2. If the only installation required is for the Polycom equipment, what configuration is that equipment to be installed in (i.e. single monitor, tied into projection system, Integration with Extron Switcher)? Answer: Please refer to the drawings on Pages 7 & 8 of the Upgrade Spec Document (See VTC) 3. Is the company expected to include the programming of the Creston control system? I notice that we aren't installing it, but I wasn't sure if we are to provide the programming of it or not. Answer: No 4. Is this an All or None bid Answer: Yes 5. Who is the manufacturer of the CP1100-01 Ultra GT Compact Keyboard Suite? Answer: Gyration, Inc. 6. If our prices on the requested equipment is lower than those of the companies quoting the equipment with the installation of it (we would still be meeting the extended warranty requirement) is there a possibility that the award would be split (1 for installation/service & 1 for goods)? Answer: We do not anticipate splitting the award. Awarding will be on an all or none basis as is stated in Question #4 7. There was Middle Atlantic equipment on the original RFQ - this equipment is not on the official solicitation - is this a typo, or was it intentionally left off? Answer: According to the solicitation, items are identical to those of the written request for quotation, therefore, please refer to the listed items that are submitted in the Written Request for Quotation. 8. On item 18, which Crestron accessories are you looking for? Answer: Accessories should be applicable to items companies are proposing. The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
