- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted by potential offerors. No additional questions will be accepted. Q1. Will there be additional detailed requirements or specifications that are made available? Response: There are no additional requirement or specifications that the Gov?t can make available. As stated in the solicitation notice, the tester the Gov?t is seeking is a commercial item capable of testing a COTS transmission. Additional information, if required, should be sought from the manufacturer of the transmission. Q2. Is there any other detailed design information for the product that will help in defining the test equipment that would be required? Response: See the answer to Question 1. Q3. Are there detailed test requirements available for the actual tests that the tester will have to perform? Response: There are no detailed test requirements available for the actual tests the tester will have to perform. The tester, using a commercial transmission tester, will test all parameters of the COTS transmission as specified by transmission manufacturer and in accordance with tester?s Operator Maintenance/Technical Manual. Q4. Is it possible for visits in person to review documentation and define requirements? Response: As this requirement is for a commercial item, the Gov?t has not determined a need for discussions or additional requirement definitization. The response date and time remains unchanged.
