- This is a Small Business Set-Aside for small business manufacturers in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. No Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be prepared and no hard copy will be made available. Spawar Systems Center ??? San Diego (SSC-SD) is seeking competitive quotations for 5 each Vertical Mill with the following minimum specifications: Gantry style CNC Vertical Mill, X Y Work Area: 20" x 30", Z Travel: 6", Servo Motors on X, Y and Z Axis, capable of machining 6061 aluminum, coolant delivery system, automatic tool changing system with 5-tool capacity, 3-D tool path generation software compatible with autodesk inventor files, local control pendant for machine positioning, zeroing and homing, full machine enclosure. Detailed specifications including manufacturer name and part/model number must be submitted with your quotation. Award will based on lowest priced, technically acceptable quote received. "Numbered Note 1 applies, however, all offers received within 5 days (in lieu of 45 days) after date of publication of original synopsis will be considered by the Government". E-mail or facsimile quotations are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. E-mail quotations may be sent to phyllis.j.berg@navy.mil or faxed to 619-553-9068. Technical questions must be e-mailed to purchasing agent up to two business days prior to the closing date of this announcement. Include solicitation number N66001-05-Q- 0636 on any inquiries.
