- Complete self contained diesel powered conveyor system, 2 units. Line Item 0001 consist of a 10 ft. by 10 ft receiving hopper, Diesel engine (minimum engine size 4 cylinder, 60 h.p.), 100 ft x 36 inch, Deep Tuss System, manually adjustable raise an d pin, the belt shall be 36 inch wide x 3/16 inch x 1/16 inch x 3 ply minimum, automatic belt cleaner, portable towing hitch, manual fold on head and tail sections, minimum belt speed 300 rpm, primed and painted the suppliers normal color (Grey if the man ufacturer does not have a standard color) minimum discharge height 7 ft 6 inches, the contractor shall supply all required tires, bracing, pulleys, etc to insure the unit will be field ready and fully functional. Line Item 0002, consist of a 5 ft long by 24 inch deep receiving hopper, Diesel engine and 100 ft 36 inch conveyor system, minimum engine size 3 cylinder diesel 40 h.p. minimum, Deep Truss system, 36 inch minimum, manually adjustable raise and pin, the belt shall be 36 inch wide x 3/16 inch x 1/16 inch x 3 ply minimum automatic belt cleaner, portable towing hitch (heavy duty), manual fold on head and tail sections, minimum belt speed 300 rpm, primed and painted the suppliers normal color (grey if the manufacturer does not have a standard color, m inimum discharge height 7ft 6 inches, the contractor shall supply all required tires, bracing, pulleys, etc to insure the unit will be field ready and fully functional. Contract type will be firm-fixed price, Delivery will be made to: R&D Maintenance Se rvices, 3600 West Plymouth Road, Columbus, Mississippi, 39701. Commercial Item Supply Contract. The NAICS Code is 333924 with a size standard of 500 employees. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation will not be p rovided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, Offerors are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet a nd download the solicitation/specifications at the following Internet site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/ct. No telephone, faxed or mailed request will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the mailing li st. Therefore, Offerors who have registered are required t o review the Internet daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be available for download on or about 16 September 2005 with a closing date on or about 23 September 2005. All responsible sources may submit an offer t hat will be considered.
