- Description
- Dyess Air Force Base wishes to purchase Dynatube Mandrells. These mandrells are used to repair the end fittings on hydraulic lines found throughout both B-1 and C-130 aircraft. The mandrells actually swedge the fittings on the end of the tubing being repaired. There are clamp blocks that hold the fitting, tubing and the mandrel in place. A wrench or socket is used on the opposite end and turn the internal mandrel to create the swedging action. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423840 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsive small business offerors will be considered by the agency.
