Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-05-Q-U036 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 332312 and small business size standard 500 Employees. (v) The contractor shall provide all labor and materials required to provide and install the following items: fall protection lines certified to 5,000 pounds per worker and 5,000 pounds of tensile strength for each drop line. We require 2 lines installed across both the A-10 and C-130 wash pads. These lines will go across both the wing and tail sections of the A-10s and C-130's parked for washing. If possible 10 feet of over clearance is required. The max height for an A-10 is 15 feet and a C-130 is 21 feet; so a total of 25 feet for the A-10's and 31 feet for the C-130's in clearance are needed. Item: 1ea. 20 feet A-10 falls arrest track at tail section for one person. Item: 1ea. 60 feet A-10 falls arrest track at wing section for one person. Item: 2ea. A-10 Trolley and Self Retracting Lifeline per tail and wing section. Item: 2ea. 25 foot C-130 Transport Fall Arrest Tracks for outside wing section. Item: 1ea. 90 foot C-130 Transport Fall Arrest Tracks for center of wing (raised as close to the support beam as possible to give max clearance to the props). Item: 1ea. 20 feet C-130 Transport Fall Arrest Tracks for tail section (raised as close to the support beam as possible to give max clearance to the props). Item: 4ea. C-130 Trolley and Self Retracting Lifeline per section. All interested parties must contact this office no later than 19 Sep 05 1:00PM PST to obtain a copy of the Statement of Work and to request a one time site visit. (vii) Delivery and acceptance should be taken prior to 60 days ARO (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer.
