- This is a re-solicitation of FN1234-05 that was cancelled on September 9, 2005. UNICOR intends to enter into a firm fixed price requirements type contract for table bases and legs. The solicitation number is FN1240-05 and this solicitation is issued as an Request For Proposal (RFP). The items are to be delivered FOB Destination UNICOR FCC Allenwood, Golf Course Road, Montgomery, PA 17752. Items include: Round Table bases, Leg Corners, Leg, Lamp Table, Leg, Table Desk, Base Columns, and Snake Foot Tables. Estimated quantities, specifications, and drawings will be provided in solicitation document. Period of performance is date of award through five years thereafter. Presently UNICOR is purchasing these items from Adams Wood Products on an open market basis. Delivery shall be 5 weeks after receipt of delivery orders for BSE1054 and LEG0110 and 7 days after receipt of delivery orders for all other items, this information will be provided in detail in the solicitation. There will be a Pre-Proposal conference on Wednesday September 21, 2005 in Washington, DC. The conference will start at 10:00am. Location: 400 First Street NW, Washington, DC. If your firm will be sending a representative to the pre-proposal conference, please submit the persons name to Tee Cavanaugh by Monday September 19, 2005 at 2:00pm. The Pre-proposal conference is not mandatory but attendance is strongly recommended. Each company is limited to one person due to space. It is advised that offerors take a taxicab or the subway because there is no parking available. If you are taking the subway, you can get off at Judiciary Square or Union Station. Variation in quantity is +/5%. The minimum and maximum delivery order quantity will be provided in solicitation document. An economic price adjustment may be requested every twelve (12) months after contract award. UNICOR may add other factories to contract at a later date through a modification to the awarded contract. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis. Offers shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Tee Cavanaugh. Solicitation number shall be referenced on the envelope for all offers. Fax proposals are accepted by the offer closing date and time at 202-353-7794. An original copy of the offer must be received within 2 days of submitting fax proposal. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering technical (ability to meet specification and provide sample), past performance, and price. Samples: Offerors are required to a sample of each item listed in the solicitation document to Tee Cavanaugh, Contracting Officer, UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, 400 First Street NW, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534. Offerors who do not submit samples will not be considered for award. This is a best value procurement. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Solicitations may be obtained from our website at www.unicor.gov and www.eps.gov on or about 09/23/05. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which will be considered.
