- The U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bloomberg LP of New York, New York for commercial timesharing services. The purchase order will provide access to the Bloomberg News Service through a computer terminal. The information available on Bloomberg News Service includes real-time access to the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) markets and access to the latest information, data, and stories related to energy markets. The proposed purchase order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties that feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statement, including prices, to the email address listed below. All submissions must be received within ten (10) days of the publication date of this notice.
