Description
The receipt date for submittal of your quotes is hereby extended to Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 2:00 PM local time. Assumptions to be made when pricing your quote: All work will be done in phases to coincide with the construction contractor. All movement and reconfiguration of furniture will be done between 4:30 PM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday or on weekends. (This is the preferred work schedule. Some work may be able to be accomplished from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday at the discretion of the Contracting Officer and will be discussed at a joint post award conference to be held with all contractors involved in the project.) It is anticipated that the initial phase of the movement will take place on or about October 6, 2005 but is subject to change. Actual dates to be discussed during the post award conference. NRCS-Indianapolis may have sufficient equipment to enable the new configuration to be completed; however, some new pieces may need to be provided by the contractor since some panel pieces may not be the correct size. (Any new pieces shall be similar in color and patterns already in place. The furniture is a mixture of Steel Case and Haworth.) New furniture will be purchased for the receptionist area and furnished by the contractor. It behooves anyone who is going to submit a quote to perform a walk through prior to submittal of their quote to confirm quantities and sizes. Submit the following along with your quote: (1) an itemized break down of your quote to include pricing for all additional pieces to be furnished by the contractor; (2) two optional proposals for new furniture for the receptionists (one for systems furniture along with several color and material options and one for wood furniture); and, (3) options for mail room cabinets to include under counter storage and mail bins. Specifications should be discussed during your walk through.) All computer equipment and peripherals will be moved by NRCS staff. It is anticipated that nearly 100% of furniture and equipment in the areas will be moved or reconfigured. Some may need to be moved more than once to accommodate construction. All boxes needed for personal items will be provided by NRCS-Indianapolis. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is K071, Movement of Furniture. The NAICS code is changed to 442110 and size standard is $6,000,000.
