Description

The General Services Administration?s Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to issue a contract to The University of California?s Center for the Built Environment (CBE) under the authority of FAR 6.302-3: Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services. This requirement is for the purpose of implementing the CBE/GSA web-based facility management performance survey in GSA Buildings. The PBS Office of Applied Science is acquiring these services for the purpose of implementing the survey and online reporting in approximately 100 delegated buildings as part of GSA?s facility management effort and in 20 deep dive and Workplace 20/20 buildings. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-3. The NAICS code is 541710. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all responses received by 3:00 p.m. est., Wednesday, September 21, 2005. A determination by the Government no to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
