- The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to award on a sole source basis to InSitech, Inc. the requirement for the Manufacturing Science & Technology Transfer Strategic Plan. InSitech is a 501(c)(3) Corporation representing the business interests of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) as its partnership intermediary. As such InSitech is involved with assessing, licensing and commercializing ARDEC's technologies and capabilities. Based on this unique relationship, InSitech has the necessary background and knowledge of ARDEC's capabilities and assets to assist ARDEC in developing a strategic plan for the technology thrust area o Manufacturing Science and technology transfer. In addition, there would be a significant learning curve and added cost to bring another contractor into this project. See Note 22. POC for this requirement is Cathy Kallistros ckallis@pica.army.mil
