Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number W9127Q-05-T-0078 is issued as a Request for Quotes for One (1) each dozer with at least a 70HP turbocharged diesel engine, full hydro-static transmission with sin gle level control, long undercarriage with minimum 6 roller track frame, sealed and lubricated track links, carrier roller, segmented sprockets, minimum 20inch single grouser track shoes, all hydraulic power-angle-tilt blade with variable pitch, single l ever control, replaceable cutting edge and end bits minimum 120 inch wide with a minimum 2.0 cubic yard capacity, equipped with open ROPS canopy, front limb risers, rear and side screens, suspension seat, cab heater, retractable seat belt, and arm rest, rear drawbar hitch, work lights (2 front and 1 rear), heavy duty crankcase guard, heavy duty grill, vandalism protection package, back-up alarm and One (1) each dozer with at least a 90HP turbocharged diesel engine, full hydro-static transmission with si ngle lever control, long undercarriage with minimum 7 roller track frame, sealed and lubricated track links, carrier roller, minimum 24 inch single grouser track shoes, all hydraulic power-angle-tilt blade with variable pitch, single lever control, rep laceable cutting edge and end-bits minimum 120 inch wide with a minimum 2.50 cubic yard capacity, equipped with open ROPS canopy, front limb risers, rear and side screens, suspension seat, cab heater, retractable seat belt, armrest, rear drawbar hitch, work lights (2 front, 1 rear), heavy duty crankcase guard, heavy duty grill, vandalism protection package, back-up alarm, and warranty. All offers must provide specifications on type equipment quoting. Successful vendor must have a service dealer located in the area. The unit will be delivered to DPW, Bldg 6678, South Gate Road, Camp Shelby, Mississippi 39407-5500. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This solicitation is 100 % small business set aside and is restricted to small businesses only in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(b). NAICS is 811310, Small Business Standard is 500 employees.
