- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the number FA4625-05-Q-0131. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The 509th Contracting squadron plans to issue a purchase order under the test program described in FAR 13.5 for the contractor to provide the following items: The contractor shall provide the following in the quantities specified. (1) Enhanced 911 system to include installation and delivery per attachment 1, Statement of Work. Total cost shall include shipping and handling, travel, and any other direct costs. Delivery is to be no later than 120 days after the contract is awarded to the location listed in Attachment 1. Hardware/software warranties and Help Desk support, if provided, shall be included in quote and any updates for future releases. The following Clauses apply to this requirement: FAR 52.214-21, Descriptive Literature (Apr 2002). The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors: Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of Attachment 2, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, with the following clauses: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (FEB 1999); 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212). 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332). The clause at 252.212-7001, 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Jun 2003) applies to this acquisition with the following clauses: 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Program and 52.225-7014 Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals.
